Bylaws generally define things like the groups official name, purpose, requirements for membership, officers titles and responsibilities, how offices are to be assigned, how meetings should be conducted, and how often meetings will be held.
The bylaws may contain any provision for managing the business and regulating the corporations affairs that is not inconsistent with statutory law or the corporations Articles of Incorporation. The bylaws generally cover the areas of the corporations internal management.
