How to insert radio button in Microsoft Word document? Click File > Options to open the Word Options dialog box. In the Word Options dialog box, (1) click Customize Ribbon in left bar, (2) check the Developer option in the right box, and (3) click the OK button.
In the Format Control dialogue box, in the Control tab, make the following changes: Value: Checked (this makes sure that the radio button is checked by default when you open the workbook). Cell Link: $A$1 (this is the cell linked to the radio button). You can manually enter this or select the cell to get the reference.
Right-click the selection. Point to the name of the object (for example, CheckBox Object), and then click Edit. Edit the text for the control. After you have finished editing the text, press ESC.
To group radio buttons On the Properties sheet, under the tab Alphabetic, look for the row with the heading GroupName. Click the adjacent cell to enter a group name. Now you need to keep the same group name for the rest of the radio buttons, which you want to keep as one group. You are done.
To get the value of the selected radio button, a user-defined function can be created that gets all the radio buttons with the name attribute and finds the radio button selected using the checked property. The checked property returns True if the radio button is selected and False otherwise.
Under Insert controls, click Button. Double-click the button icon that was inserted onto your form template. Click the General tab. In the Action list, click the action that you want the button to perform.
The alternatives to radio buttons are checkboxes and drop down boxes. Use them over the alternatives when: One answer must be selected.
Click the “Design Mode” button, which will display a list of available features. Click the “Lagacy Tools” button, which will display a list of forms tools. Click the “Radio Button” icon, which will insert a radio button into the Word document.
Using the Word program, you can easily create your own buttons that you need by using the provided tools. Launch the Microsoft Word application and create a new page. ... Select the "HTML Object" option under the "Insert" menu or "Insert" tab and click the "Option Button" to create a small, circular (radio) button.
