TIFF files that consist of a large, high-resolution image may exceed your computer or printer's memory. Because inkjet printers rely on the host computer to which they're attached for the memory they need to store the information sent to them, a large TIFF may strain your computer's resources.
CMYK File Types: PDF files are ideal when a CMYK color profile is needed because they are compatible with most programs. This is by far the best universal file type for sharing designs. AI files are the native documents created in Adobe Illustrator and maintain their editability.
