The video tutorial explains the maintenance and work order tab, highlighting a single setting: the default work order status. This setting determines the status assigned to new work orders created in the CMMS, either from the work orders module or directly from an asset. Currently, the default status is set to "open." The presenter prefers to create incomplete work orders initially and update them later to avoid having active incomplete orders. To accommodate this, they change the default status to "on hold." As a result, new work orders now reflect a status of "pending on hold." The tutorial concludes with a brief thank you for watching.
