Wireless Setup Instructions Go to Settings. Choose Wi-Fi. If your Wi-Fi is turned off turn it on. From the list of available networks select UofT.
If you cant connect to a Wi-Fi network that you could connect to before, its possible that the network settings might have changed or the profile is corrupted. To fix this, remove (or forget) the network connection, then reconnect to the network.
Manually connect to eduroam Click on Start button and open Control Panel. In Network and Internet open Network and Sharing Center, select Set up a new connection or network. Select Manually Connect to a Wireless Network and click Next. In Network name, enter eduroam. In Security type select WPA2-Enterprise.
Connect to the UofT wireless network on campus using your UTORid. If youve never signed on before, youll need to verify your UTORid first, even if it works on Portal or other services. The eduroam wireless network is available at U of T for visitors from participating institutions.
Use your SAK to activate your UTORid: Go to uoft.me/activate-utorid(opens in a new tab)(opens in a new tab) Enter your JOINid + SAK. Set up your UTmail+ account. Set up your UTORid password and account management options.
Q: 1. What happens to my U of T email account? A: You may have finished your education here, but you can still share your pride in being affiliated with the University of Toronto with an alumni email account. After you graduate, your student email address will change to your.name@alum.utoronto.ca.
Open the Email* app on your device. If you havent previously configured another email account, proceed to next step. Students can access their email inbox by logging into with their UTORid and associated password.
In order to access your University of Toronto email address, you will need to submit a TCard Permission Letter. When you are activating your UTORid, you will be asked if you want to activate a U of T email account. You will not be able to activate an email account, without an active UTORid.
Option 2: Add network Open your devices Settings app. Tap Network internet. Internet. At the bottom of the list, tap Add network. You may need to enter the network name (SSID) and security details. Tap Save.
