hello everybody and welcome my name is keith gephart with learntech training and in this video were going to discuss how to configure voice over ip phones on our networks okay now this will be a simple method just to get you familiar with the commands and get your phones actually communicating together easily now here you can see were using three different ip phones and three different computers a very very simple and basic topology we have here but you can see if i go ahead and dial the phone extension i gave this phone over here on the right 1030 one zero three zero and just pick up the phone to call it it rings without any issue so we could go ahead and either answer that phone and we could see its connected and then we could hang it up okay so this is exactly what were going to be doing you can see were going to be adding some different vlans were going to be configuring a dhcp pool for our data and voice vlans and then were going to be adding our telephony services as well
