Using the Print Settings. One way to adjust the scaling for print is to go to the File menu in the ribbon and click on the Print command. There are several options for your print settings, but if you go to the bottom of the list, you will see the Scale to Fit option. By default, Excel sets the option to No Scaling.
Go to the Header Footer Elements group and click on the Page Number icon. Youll see the placeholder [Page] appear in the selected section. If you want to add the total number of pages, type a space after [Page]. Then enter the word of followed by a space.
To switch the default paper size, go to Page Layout Page Setup Size, and then choose the size you want.
Fit to one page Click Page Layout. Click the small Dialog Box Launcher on the bottom right. Select the Page tab in the Page Setup dialog box. Select Fit to under Scaling. To fit your document to print on one page, choose 1 page(s) wide by 1 tall in the Fit to boxes. Press OK at the bottom of the Page Setup dialog box.
