Apply a Template Visit your dashboard. Click on Pages or Posts and select the page/post you want to apply the template to. In the Settings sidebar on the right, locate the Template section. Choose the template you want to apply. Preview how the page or post will look with the template applied.
Do any of the following to adjust the page view: Fit the pages in the document window: Click the Zoom pop-up menu and choose Fit Spread. Increase or decrease the size of the pages: Click the Zoom pop-up menu and choose a percentage, or choose Fit Page Width, which zooms one page to fill the document window horizontally.
Save a document as a template Select File Save as Template (from the File menu at the top of your screen). Click an option: Add to Template Chooser: Type a name for the template, then press Return. Your template appears in the My Templates category in the template chooser.
Click anywhere in a blank spot on the page you want to change, or select the page in Page Thumbnails view. In the Format sidebar, click Page Template, then choose a page template.
First, navigate to the WordPress page that you want to use as a template. Click on the Edit button to open the page editor. Once the editor is open, click on the Templates dropdown menu in the right sidebar. From the Templates dropdown, select Save as Template.
Open Pages and click the New Document button in the dialog, or choose File New from the Pages menu at the top of the screen. In the template chooser, scroll to find a template for the type of document (or envelope) you want to create, then double-click the template to open it.
Page templates are fully-formed HTML files that define the layout and high-level look-and-feel of web pages, including the placement of contribution regions (that is, editable areas on the page), navigation aids (in the form of fragments) and site-wide images (banners and the like).
Tap Document Options, then tap Document Setup. To change the page orientation, tap Portrait or Landscape. To change paper size, tap an option under Paper Size: If you want to print your document on 8.5 x 11 printer paper, choose Letter.
