Paginated reports are designed to be printed or shared. Theyre called paginated because theyre formatted to fit well on a page. They display all the data in a table, even if the table spans multiple pages.
In SSRS, we have Interactive Size set to 11 inches by default. If we set it to zero, then all the data is viewed in one page. As mentioned above, do the Interactive size impact the performance. In my report, I have set the interactive size height to 455 inches, which is the maximum height.
Although a report model might be large, report definitions rarely exceed 4 MB. A more typical report size is in the order of kilobytes (KB). However, if you include embedded images, the encoding of those images can result in large report definitions that exceed the 4-MB default.
Margins Size dialog is where you can modify the size of the report, the report page margins and the line, letter and word spacing. To open its dialog, please click on Margins Size under the Report Settings tab on the left hand side of the report. In the dialog, there are two tabs: Page Size and Margins Spacing.
Use a 2-column layout for optimal readability. Leave plenty of whitespace in your report design. Apply consistent motifs across every page of your report design. Use color blocks to group related information.
Adding New Pages- located at the very bottom of all the pages in the report. Select + New Page.
Solution : The default Interactive size is set to 11 inches and whatever records can fit into it that is what SSRS display to us. Lets change the Height to 0 Under InteractiveSize Property under Report properties and deploy our report and see if it is showing all records on one page.
By default, the page size is 8.5 x 11 inches but you can change this size by using the Report Properties pane, Page Setup dialog box or by changing the PageHeight and PageWidth properties in the Properties pane. The page size does not grow or shrink to accommodate the contents of the report body.
