all right so today i want to go over centering your cover letter um instead of having to press enter and get it aligned in the center this is much easier so go ahead and type what you want to name your cover letter im gonna do a few editing things here im gonna change it this to double spacing then im going to change some of the font okay so pay attention here this is where it gets tough so im going to highlight this run up to file click on page setup then im going to click here and im going to click on microsoft word okay and then im going to click on margins for margins im gonna go to layout okay right here it says page vertical alignment go ahead and click center okay and its gonna apply to the whole document so go ahead and press ok boom okay its in the center thats what i want now check this part out right here okay so im gonna do the same thing im gonna go file page setup microsoft word margins and then im gonna go to layout and then im gonna click at the top and t

What Does Page Setup Mean? Page setup is a set of specific parameters involving the display and layout of a printed page. This type of resource is part of many modern word processing applications and other document processing software, for instance, in Microsoft Office applications.
On the Format menu, point to Document, and then click Page Setup. On the Paper Size pop-up menu, select a paper size. Click OK.
To put a blank page into your Word document, place the cursor where you want the new page to begin and then click Insert Blank Page. The blank page opens, ready for whatever you want to add. Another option when you need a little space is to insert a page break.
Insert page numbers On the Insert tab, select. If you dont want a page number to appear on the first page, select Different First Page. If you want numbering to start with 1 on the second page, go to Page Number Format Page Numbers, and set Start at to 0. When youre done, select Close Header and Footer or press Esc.
To fix Microsoft Word page layout, follow these steps: Open the document in Microsoft Word. Go to the Page Layout tab. Click the Page Setup button. Set the Page Orientation, Margins, Paper size and other settings to fit your needs. Click OK to apply the changes.
Reorder pages Select and hold a page-tab name. Drag it rightward or leftward to the position where you want to move, and then release the mouse button.
On the Format menu, click Document Page Setup. Select a paper size from the Paper Size list, and then click OK. On the Document page, on the Apply to list, click Selected text, and then click OK.
Insert Page X of Y Go to Insert Page Number. Do one of the following: Select Current Position if you have a header or footer. Scroll until you see Page X of Y and select a format. Select Close Header and Footer, or double-click anywhere outside the header or footer area.
