hello here is an excel formula to add serial numbers to these data sets containing blank rows to start with click inside here you introduce equal sign then if okay and inside the parenthesis then the first of then equal to then double inverted commas then comma double invented comments again then comma then count a you open your parenthesis again introduce dollar sign then b dollar sign then two then colon okay then b again then two then you just double close your parenthesis and you are done so once you are done with this you just drag to auto fill so you can see that rows with data are numbered and those without data are not numbered so once i clear this data here let me just clear this data here once i just right click and go to clear content you can see that the number has just changed that is how its done thank you
