to insert our logo type to the letterhead Ill start by inserting a header to insert a header click the insert tab and then click on the header icon here there are a number of built-in designs that I can choose from but since I only want to insert a logo type Ill just select edit header Ill go to the insert section and just select picture and here Ill select our logo type as you can see this image is way too big so Ill just resize it by grabbing the bottom right corner to make sure we keep the proportions of the logo type now I want to place them theyll go up in the left-hand corner so Ill click wrap text and then select behind text this way I can position the logo type exactly where I want it and I dont have to worry about text or margin settings there to close the header I can just double click outside of the header area or I can go to the design tab and just click close header the logo looks a bit faded a bit washed out but this is just words way of showing you that this is

From the pull down menus, choose Insert → Header → Default. Click so that the cursor is inside the new header block. From the pull down menus, choose Insert → Picture → From File. Navigate to the desired logo, then click Open.
Use headers and footers to add a title, date, or page numbers to every page in a document. Select Insert > Header or Footer. Select one of the built in designs. Type the text you want in the header or footer.
Open the Watermark gallery, and click Custom Watermark. Then, click Picture watermark and select Picture. Choose a picture file and click Insert. Click Apply.
On the View menu, click the Insert tab and click Header. Look toward the bottom of the list that appears and click Edit header. Click the box that says Different first page.
To remove a header from the second page, but keep it on the first page, make sure you enable "Different First Page" from "Insert > Header". Delete any text that's in the header area for the second page.
Click or tap where you want to start a new page without the header or footer. Go to Layout > Breaks > Next Page to create a section break. Double-click the header or footer area (near the top or bottom of the page) to open the Header & Footer tab. Select Link to Previous to turn off the link between the sections.
Go to Insert on the Ribbon, click on the Header icon and then select Edit Header. Locate the "Design" located under the title "Header & Footer Tools" Check the box "Different First Page"
Documents and letters It's best to place your logo on the top left-hand corner or center of the page. Be aware of how the logo will look on your letter. You don't want it to be too large and overpowering or too small that it's hard to read. Size it to fit the area on the page and how it'll look best.
Put a watermark on all pages Go to Design > Watermark > Custom Watermark. Choose Picture Watermark and select a picture, or choose Text watermark and type your watermark text in the Text box. Select OK.
Cause of fonts being cut off in Word Line spacing of the text is set to an exact height. In case the document shows 'Exactly' in the line spacing settings, it can happen that the measurement set is equal or less than the height of the font. This may cause characters to not show or being cut off.
