SVG files are the best logo file format for displaying logos online, thanks to their high resolution, small file size, support for transparent backgrounds, and encoded data. Because SVG files are vector-based, you never have to worry about your file looking blurry or pixelated.
The simple answer is that by default, Photoshop locks text layers to prevent accidental changes. However, you can unlock a text layer by clicking on the “Lock” icon in the Layers panel. Once unlocked, you can then edit the text just like any other layer.

For the most part, 250 px (width) x 100 px (height) are the optimal logo dimensions for a web page. If, however, you need to customize your logo size, we know how to do it! Below we've listed a few logo dimensions for the two most common layouts.
The best file format for a transparent background is PNG. If you're using your logo for any digital purpose, choose PNG files–and go with SVG or EPS files if you're sending your logo to a designer for tweaks and edits.
With your image open in Adobe Photoshop, go to the "File" menu and select "Save for Web". This will open up the "Save for Web" window. If you are working with a photo, the JPEG file format is suggested. If it is a graphic, such as a banner, logo or navigational tool, GIF format is suggested.
