Find a desired location to save the file. From within the Save As Window, find the Save File Type field. Select the drop-down arrow, and change the file from Rich Text Format (rtf) to Word Document (doc). Select Save.
Step 1: Select Report Format. Step 2: Select Table Data. Step 3: Select Data Fields. Step 4: Group the Table. Step 5: Insert a Break for the Group. Step 6: Sort the Table. Step 7: Click Finish. Step 8: Customize the Table Using Microsoft Word Functionality.
Solution that worked for me: I used ods escapechar='^'; I added ^n where I want my line break.
About {\pard ... The \pard means to reset the paragraph-formatting attributes to their default value, instead of inheriting them (or some of them!) from the previous paragraph. The \par means to end the current paragraph.
Under Insert controls, click Rich Text Box. In the Rich Text Box Binding dialog box, select the field in which you want to store rich text box data, and then click OK.
Change a field to rich text Open the table that contains the field in Design View. In the table design grid, click the Long Text field that you want to change to rich text. Under Field Properties, click the General tab. Click the Text Format box and select Rich Text. Save your changes.
RTF files contain both configuration information and the actual text of the document. The formatting includes bold, italics, font size, and margin settings. This means that when you open an RTF file in a word processing program, the text will retain its original design.
In RTF, \par represents a paragraph break. \page alone will suffice to create a page break without a blank line after it.
If you don't have a word processor that can open RTF files, you can convert the file to another format using a file converter. For example, you can use a free online converter to convert an RTF file to a Portable Document Format or DOCX file.
Use File → Save As... and select the option that allows you to save the file as a Text Document — rather than Rich Text Format (RTF), which is the default. TextEdit on the Mac. Use the Make Plain Text command in the Format menu before saving the file.
