hi everyone on this channel I create videos packed with lots of great information this video is the second in a new series about using Microsoft Excel so if youd like to learn more about excel subscribe to my channel sometimes I get a list of names that are formatted such that theres a first name a space and then the last name and thats fine but sometimes I want to sort the names by last name and its difficult to do when theyre formatted like that so Im going to teach you how to take the list of names separate it out between the first name and the last name and then put it back together such that we have the last name a comma and then the first name lets get started by highlighting the names of the people were going to visit the data tab and then were going to select text to columns when Excel looks at our data you can automatically determine that between the words theres a space so by default in this situation its going to select delimited so at this point lets just click

The petition may be filed at the Local Civil Registry office where the birth certificate is registered.The following may file the petition: Owner of the record. Owners spouse. Children. Parents. Siblings. Grandparents. Guardian. Other person duly authorized by law or by the owner of the document.
To request a change to a birth certificate, you may email the affidavit and associated paperwork to dvr.corrections@maryland.gov and a representative will contact you directly regarding the request and payment options.
To change a name on a birth certificate, contact the Department of Healths Division of Vital Records (DVR). You can bring documents to DVR in person or you can mail them. You can find the DVR contact information, including the agency street address, on the Division website.
To ask the court for a name change, you need to file a petition. You can use the Petition for Change of Name of an Adult (CC-DR-60) or Petition for Change of Name of a Minor (CC-DR-062). Attach documents with your or the minors current name (birth certificate, drivers license, passport, etc.).
The fee for filing a name change in Maryland is $165 (see Fee Schedule) or, if the petitioner is represented by an attorney, $185.
License holders must also present the official document backing the name change, in this case, the certified copy of the marriage certificate. The requester will need to pay a $20 fee to obtain a new license.
