The fastest way to create an issue with a template is to use the keyboard shortcut Option/Alt C . This will bring up a list of templates available and then open the selected one in the issue editor. If you dont see the template, then check that youre creating the issue from the right team.
Apply template allows you to autofill fields in an already created issue, with values defined in a template.To apply a template: Create an issue or open an existing one. Click More in the issue view. Select Apply Template. Select a template from the list. Click Apply.
To create a template: Click Create at the top of the screen to open the Create issue screen.
