hello in this video ill talk a bit about how you might use the index um so you can see here that we mentioned um that this project has an index and then it might let you choose record youre interested in transcribing but how do you find a record youre interested in transcribing and so we can follow this link to the faq and there are a few entries here about the index and choosing records and things like that um the one im taking you to right now is how to see the minute book indexes so the minute books that we are working from all have their own indexes and we can look in those to find things we are interested in so im just going to click on this one this brings me to the national archives catalog and i can press this here and that will load up the index for me and then i can just leave through it and look for things i might be interested in and use these arrow keys to do that um so i can just flick around and look for something i might like to see and lets say im interested in
