hey everyone its ken here from northern viking everyday i hope youre doing well today were going to be showing you how to convert your photos to jpeg so maybe you have photos and all sorts of different file types today well show you how to convert those to jpegs well to be doing this on a windows 11 pc but it should be very similar on a windows 10 pc as well so lets go ahead and dive right into it [Music] all right so here we are on my windows 11 desktop and again the process should be very similar in windows 10. now i happen to have five photos here on the left hand side and theyre all the same photo but of different file types and this first one here is a png these are from a recent trip we took to the caribbean now ive got a png ive got a bmp ive got a tiff ive got a heic which is common for you iphone users out there and we have a web p now these file types will probably cover about 99 of you now there are some more obscure photo file types that this method wont work fo

Create guides If the rulers arent showing, choose View Show Rulers. Position the pointer on the left ruler for a vertical guide or on the top ruler for a horizontal guide. Drag the guide into position. To convert vector objects to guides, select them and choose View Guides Make Guides.
Create a Guide: Hover your cursor over either the left or top Ruler. Click on the Ruler and drag it as if you were trying to move it onto your document. You will see a thin line appear as you drag from the Ruler and this is your Guide. Use the Ruler to help you place the Guide in your desired location.

If you want to save your guides so that you can use them again in another Photoshop document, simply go to the File menu and choose Save Guides. This will save your guides as a . psd file that you can later load into another Photoshop document.

To create a guide, simply click on one of the rulers and drag a guide onto your photo or layout. To move a guide, make sure the Moving tool is selected, and then click on a guide and drag to move it. Once you have created all the guides you want, you can lock them. Go to View and select Lock Guides.
you have to open the image with photoshop and then add the guides as you require and then save(ctrl+s) the image. Re-open the saved image with photoshop, you will see the guides also have loaded with the image file.
