A food allergy chart is a template that youll use to record which foods on your menu contain one or more of the 14 named allergens. It can be tricky to remember all of them, so having a chart is extremely useful.
Most formulas available in stores are made from cows milk. If your baby is allergic to them, you will need to find an alternative, such as a soy or wheat formula. For children with severe allergies, you may need to carry an epinephrine auto-injector like EpiPen.
Values under 0.35 mean unlikely sensitization to the allergen. Values between 0.35-0.69 mean doubtful significance. Values between 0.70-3.49 mean there is a possibility. Values between 3.50-17.49 mean a greater possibility. Values between 17.50-49.99 mean very likely.
When you have a food allergy, your immune system mistakenly identifies a specific food or a substance in food as something harmful. In response, your immune system triggers cells to release an antibody known as immunoglobulin E (IgE) to neutralize the allergy-causing food or food substance, called an allergen.
2 - positive. Moderate. 0.35+ 1 - low, weak positive. Low.
