A Creating IDoc Extensions Enter transaction code WE31. From the Segment type list, enter a segment type and then click the Create icon. In the Short Description field, enter a description for the segment. Click the Save icon. In the Package field, enter a name for the package and then click the Save icon.
Hi , In order to check the Iodc segment field you can go to T code WE31, then input Iodc segment name. this will provide you the field list in the Idoc Structure.
Path and Tcode to Search for a particular IDOC : - Choose the transaction WE09 (SAP Menu - Tools - IDoc Interface/ALE - Administration - Services - IDoc Search by Contents - WE09). - Choose the Data Source button to specify whether you want to search for IDocs from the database or the archive (or both).
Step 1) Open and search for the respective IDOC using T-code WE03 or WE05 and required selection parameters using the IDOC number or other suitable search parameters. Step 5) Now the data fields are editable. Edit the value which you are looking for and save. Step 6) Execute the IDOC.
Go to menu Edit- Cancel Release the Idoc type first. Enter change mode and click the Idoc segment need to change its segment limits. Go to menu Edit- Segment Attributes.
- press change mode on Application tool bar press INSERT(shift+F1) button add field -- save main screen Menubar -set release.
You cannot add custom field to the standard IDOC type. I would suggest you to create an extended IDOC for your Std. IDOC and add the new field into the extended IDOC type. This can be done thru tcode WE30.
Filtering the unwanted IDOCS is called IDOC filtering. We need to specify a filter value in the distribution model (BD64), now IDocs will be generated only for that filter type which is called as IDoc filtering. Expand that model view and sender system and receiver system. Expand the MATMAS message type.
