Go to My Dashboard in Howdy, select Overview, then the My Record tab. Then under Academics, select Registration Readiness. This will lead to a page where you choose Action Items and Tuition Rate Code Selection.
The Variable Rate for the current academic year is lower than the Locked Rate; however, the rate increases annually. These increases to the Variable Rate could result in overall tuition and fee charges that are higher than the overall tuition and fee charges for the Locked Rate.
What is Variable Tuition? Variable tuition is a need-based tuition assistance program similar to those used by many private schools, colleges, and universities. This program allows families to apply for reduced tuition that is right for their families financial situation.

A deposit payment is the last step after you have received an unconditional offer letter and wish to enrol into an institution. For some competitive/quota courses, this will secure your spot in the course. The deposit usually includes tuition fees payment for 1 semester and additional (if packaged courses).
This deposit is non-refundable and put towards a students total fees owing for their Initial Term. The Tuition Deposit is required for each new program in an Academic Year.
It is not usually possible for your fee status to change once your course has started, except in certain specific circumstances. These circumstances include if you or a relevant family member is recognised as a refugee or is granted humanitarian protection (and you can meet the residency requirement).
