To create an employee ID card, start by inserting a rounded rectangle shape in the center, setting the standard dimensions in inches. Then, draw a rectangle for the background, right-click to format it by changing the color and removing the outline. Send the background to the back and ensure it fills the area completely. Zoom in for better visibility, right-click to format, and remove the outline color. For the top of the ID card, draw a small rectangle, format it similarly by removing the outline and changing the fill color. Use the curve tool while holding the Shift key to create shapes, right-clicking to format them by removing the outline and modifying the fill color.
