HTML emails are written using hypertext markup language code, which allows you to implement graphics, add buttons, and embed videos directly into your emails. You can also use HTML tags to customize the way the font looks, whether you want to use a different font or change the color or size of the font youre using.
To do so: On the Create HTML Formatted Emails page, click the Source button to view the default HTML code. Delete all the existing HTML coding from the window. Open your previous email template in Notepad. Copy ALL the existing HTML coding. Paste the code into the window of the Create HTML Formatted Emails page.
1. In Outlook client, click File Options Mail, in Compose messages in this format, choose the checkbox with HTML, then click OK to save the changes. And at the same time in Mail Message format, choose checkbox Convert to HTML format when sending messages in Rich Text format to Internet recipients.
How to change message format from plain text to HTML in Outlook? Open your Outlook and click the File button top left corner. Choose Options Mail. Under Compose messages, in the Compose messages in this format list, choose HTML and hit OK to save the changes.
Go to File Options in your Microsoft Outlook application. Then click on the Mail option from the left panel and then under the Compose messages section on the right panel, check if the HTML option is selected against Compose messages in this format option. If not, then select it.
Open your Outlook and click the File button top left corner. Choose Options Mail. Under Compose messages, in the Compose messages in this format list, choose HTML and hit OK to save the changes.
When you create a new email using any of the most popular email clients such as Outlook, Apple Mail or Gmail, by default they will compose the email message using the HTML format. An important thing to remember is that not all email clients render HTML in the same way.
HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language. Its the way web pages and email templates are coded so that text is formatted and images are added. Plain Text is regular text, with no formatting options such as bold, italics, underlines, or special layout options.
Change the format of all new messages On the File tab, choose Options Mail. Under Compose messages, in the Compose messages in this format list, click HTML, Plain Text, or Rich Text.
There is no option in Outlook to change this default; Outlook will always reply and forward in the same format (Plain Text, Rich Text or HTML) of the original message. This is to keep the original message intact, maintain the preference or technical limitation of the original sender.
