[Music] todays lesson it will be about two-dimensional drawing in wpf and first we will open our new project in this project we will draw some shapes in a canvas and we will not only draw them also we will assign click events to them so when you click on them or drag them around they will move i prefer adding shapes from code because i can add them for one time from xml and you can just like inside canvas you can just write an object like ellipse rectangle ellipse and you can assign the thickness of the brush the color and everything from here but this is not a convenient way because as you know in graphics um adding it programmatically removing it programmatically and being able to modify it from the program from code is much more flexible and at least on in the applications that i made i was required to do this as you see i just write an ellipse object in the canvas and i choose the color height the white the stroke thickness and you can see it already created to the left top corne

Object drawing mode creates a shape that is a separate graphic which sits above the stage. When selected, a bounding box surrounds the shape to show it is one complete object. When object drawing mode is turned ON: The Property Inspector shows the status as “object drawing mode on”.
Steps Draw a straight, horizontal line using a ruler. ... Make a shorter vertical line coming down from one end of the first line. ... Draw a horizontal line coming off the bottom end of the vertical line. ... Draw a vertical line between the ends of the two horizontal lines. ... Color in your rectangle to make it pop.
To draw a line, create a Line element. Use its X1 and Y1 properties to set its start point; and use its X2 and Y2 properties to set its end point. Finally, set its Stroke and StrokeThickness because a line without a stroke is invisible. Setting the Fill element for a line has no effect, because a line has no interior.
To draw a rectangle, create a Rectangle element and specify its Width and Height. To paint the inside of the rectangle, set its Fill. To give the rectangle an outline, use its Stroke and StrokeThickness properties. To give the rectangle rounded corners, specify the optional RadiusX and RadiusY properties.
WPF provides a number of ready-to-use Shape objects. All shape objects inherit from the Shape class. Available shape objects include Ellipse, Line, Path, Polygon, Polyline, and Rectangle.
To turn off drawing mode after you've drawn what you want, press the Esc key. This action puts you back into selection mode.
Creating a Rectangle The Rectangle element in XAML creates a rectangle shape. The following code snippet creates a rectangle by setting its width and height properties to 200 and 100 respectively. The code also sets the black stroke of width 4.
A Drawing object describes visible content, such as a shape, bitmap, video, or a line of text. Different types of drawings describe different types of content. The following is a list of the different types of drawing objects. GeometryDrawing – Draws a shape. ImageDrawing – Draws an image.
Object Drawing mode Animate creates each shape as a separate object that you can individually manipulate. When a drawing tool is in Object Drawing mode, the shapes you create with it are self-contained. The stroke and fill of a shape are not separate elements, and shapes that overlap do not alter one another.
A still life is a drawing or painting that focuses on still objects. The subject matter is inanimate and never moves, typically with a focus on household objects, flowers, or fruits. Still life work contrasts figure drawing which focuses on a live human model.
