“Permit” has the meaning ascribed to it in subsection 3 of NRS 202.3653. The sheriff shall issue or renew a permit to carry a concealed firearm for no more than two specific firearms to any person who is qualified to possess a firearm under state and federal law.
Arizona has passed “Permitless Carry.” That means anyone who can legally own/possess a firearm and is 21 or older can carry it concealed without any type of permit/license.
A concealed weapons permit is valid for five years. Permits are renewable for five-year periods, but applicants must undergo a new criminal history record check.
Concealed carry firearm permits are valid for 5 years from date of issuance. When carrying a concealed firearm, you must have your CCW permit and state identification.
The class is 2-3 hours long. Class costs only $60.00.
Duration & Renewal A concealable weapons permit is valid for five years. SLED will renew a permit upon completion of a renewal application, picture identification, and submission of a renewal fee.
The term printing is a simple way of saying that the outline of the firearm is visible through clothes or the cover garment while concealed carrying.
Certificates are valid for one year, beginning from the date the qualification was completed.
The fee for a five year license (new or renewal ) is a $50 which can be a certified check, cashier's check or money order made payable to SLED.
