hi everyone a few weeks ago i made a very popular video on how to separate jpegs and raws onto memory card 1 and memory card 2. this week i have received a question from a chap called william who has asked can he shoot both raw and jpeg on the same memory card as you can see here im currently shooting raw on card slot 1 and large jpeg on card slot 2. now if we go over to the yellow tab and tap number one here and then record function and then we go down to the record options record im currently using the record separately and well go over the other options now my understanding is the standard records photos either in jpeg or raw format one format on one card the auto switch card is the same as standard but additionally this switches between one card and the other when the first card becomes full record separately enables you to set a specific image quality for each card for each card slot this is the option i use and i enjoy recording raw on card one and jpeg on card two to record
