hey everyone um were gonna go into service management further uh today what were gonna do is create a service order now its gonna be very quick that we do it on screen but im going to draw it up a little bit here whats actually going on so we have something called service item im going to call that sc rsr now i so thats a service item lets call it as rv service item and service item is an item but its not the normal item that we have in business central service item can be connected to a normal item ill put a dotted here and but doesnt have to be so in a case where lets say that youre servicing an item that is that you took over you didnt sell that item to the customer its a computer or something like that lets say you dont even sell these computers but you do service them you want to add it as a service item into your system however its not necessarily an item in your inventory or connected to an item in an inventory so so thats why that is a loose connection there
