If you havent had a chance to see Designer in action, here is what it does in a nutshell. Here I have a plain boring presentation using one of PowerPoints built-in themes, in this case, The Office Theme. Now, if I were to add a picture to the slide, Designer, that brand new feature I was telling you about will pop up and make new layout suggestions based upon the theme I have chosen and the pictures I have inserted and that is what designer does. It instantly gives you a slide makeover if you are using the title slide or the title and content slide that is or one of Microsoft built-in themes. If you are using your own custom theme or template, Designer will not have any ideas for you. An administrator may have turned off Designer Designer is a feature for Microsoft 365 subscribers, but some organizations turn off the feature. If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription but don't see the Design Ideas button, ask your IT department.
