How to edit an invoice Go to Sales and select Invoices (Take me there). Scroll to the invoice you wish to edit and click on it to open it up. Make the necessary changes. Click Save and Close (or Save and Send).
Invoice Date The invoice date is the date the invoice was issued. Usually, it is also the day the products or services were purchased. Even if the invoice number includes the date, the invoice date should still be written in a separate line. Due Date The due date is the date by which payment must be made.
Double-click the transaction you want to edit, click the Date field, and then use the calendar to enter a new date.
Go to Get paid pay or Sales, then Customers. Select Invoices. Locate the invoice youd like to modify the due date. Choose Edit invoice.
Once the Invoice has been Approved and Processed all details, including the date, are final and unable to be edited.
