Procedure In the screen Technical Objects choose Equipment Display . The screen Display Equipment: Initial , is displayed. Enter the number of the equipment master record or use a matchcode to search for it. Enter a date in the field Valid on. Choose Continue.
Displaying Equipment On the initial screen choose Logistics Equipment and Tools Management Master Data Equipment Display . The Display Equipment: Initial Screen appears. Enter an equipment number and choose Enter . The Display Equipment: General Data screen appears.
Once all active SFC numbers are completed or signed off at the resource, the status is automatically changed. In Resource Maintenance (see Resource Maintenance), you can make a status change that takes effect immediately.
You can use the transction Code MM60 to lis t all materials irrespective of the plants.
The valid to date is (as the word signifies) the date of validity, the equipment will exist in the system, i.e., you can process upon (create orders/notifications etc.) it without any problem. Normally we give this date as something very far in the future. (say 9999 years).
In the ERP system starting with the SAP Easy Access screen choose Logistics Plant Maintenance Management of Technical Objects Equipment Create (General) and create equipment as follows: Specify a name for the equipment and an equipment category and choose Continue.
