I will show you an easy way to see the whole updating process on the ECDIS. The simple answer to this is: Every time you update your charts it also updates the chart catalog. An easy way to see what is going on during your update process is to go to NAVI -- Log -- Update log. and chose your type of chart. Lets say ENC chart. This log has the oldest updates first. Lets go to the bottom to the latest updates. Here you can see everything that has been going on in your update process. Which carts have been updated - which charts have been withdrawn and so on. Your chart catalog is here. Updated GB product list from GB update week 21. Then you can see - okay this week is has updated my chart catalog. The chart catalog is also shown in CHARTS -- Cell Status. Then you can see - this is your chart catalog. It has been updated. You can see
