[Music] hello friends this video shows how we can sort a ruse in Google spreadsheet by date so here we have got data and this is the first column where we all mention manufacturing data so we are going to solve this data by manufacturing it so having just a 2d shape of the data so this is the 11th April 2018 this is 27th of me and this is 31st of May so if you sort this should come first that is same you should come first because the deed is in April so before we sort the data what you have to do is that the column that date column we need to put the data validation for example for adding the data validation you have to select that and click on data validation and over there you have to start palma second row because that is where from our data starts and here you have to select it and either validate so what will happen is that this column will allow only file it dates and then sorting will be easier otherwise if this this column is we do not put that validation data validate validat
