To create a dot leader in a table of contents, select the text where you want the dots to appear. Go to page layout, choose tabs, set a right justified tab stop position at 5.375 and a left justified tab stop position at 5.5. Click OK and hit tab to see the dot leaders align in the table of contents.

To add the dots to your table of contents, select the table, choose the Text inspector, then select the leader as dots. If you dont have a table of contents, place the cursor where you wish to insert the table of contents, then Insert Table of Contents and choose the scope.
Change the layout of your table of contents To add a dot leader, or dotted line, between each entry and its page number, click the Tab leader list and then click the dotted line. To change the overall appearance of your table of contents, click the Formats list, and then click the format that you want.
