hey everyone k5 EOP here I just want to go over real quick on the wires X set up with an FTM 100 dr and the same would go for a 400 dr as well so real quick here Ive got it on an old Vista machine so I apologize I dont have a screen capture software were going to start off the wires X application and real quick here this appear file this is the biggest important most important thing you want to do transceiver ok youre going to choose digital or analog I ran this with an analog my Kenwood the V 71 worked right you got to put the frequency and everything in in that in that case whether its simplex or may be connected to a repeater with a tone and all that digital mode with 100 400 or any other digital compatible radio click digital it should automatically say dsq frequency yeah the frequency youre going to put in Im just using a simplex frequency on the low power eventually Ill connect it to our clubs repeater and they dont have to change that to a high power probably distro r
