in this video were going to create and use an SSL client certificate to provide SSL authentication in an asp.net MVC web application we are going to create a new certificate it locally and configure it with iis so to start i have an existing application called my HR Im going to try running this in Internet Explorer so this application loads without using SSL Im going to close this the properties SSL enabled set this value to true click on save all Im going to get the SSL URL so Ill copy that and now Im going to start Internet Explorer once again so Im going to click guess to the certificate locally so I wont see a warning in the browser Im going to click yes so that on secure site loaded Im going to load the secure site I will paste in the URL for the secure web site and hit enter and as you can see SSL is enabled Im gonna close the browser Im going to use the developer command prompt to create my new certificate so I have this open already Im going to go
