hey guys welcome or welcome back thanks so much for joining me today im going to go through how to use one of these in the field so basically as ive just said were going to go through how to use a white balance card to set a custom white balance whilst youre out on a location so this is going to differ for every make and model of camera but there is always a way to do this so all you need to do is have a look on a good old google for your make and model im going to do a demonstration with the sony camera bodies so what you need to do is you need to have a white balance card that ideally is the correct shade of middle gray if you dont have a white balance card i will link this one in the description below its really affordable it folds up nice and small so you can pop it in your camera bag and its just really fun to play with what you need is a camera and the white balance card ignore the screen on the top there that just records what im seeing and
