Working hours can be tracked using manual timesheets, time tracking software, time clocks or fully automated time and attendance solutions. Unless you have a very small team, manual timesheets can be very difficult to track and manage.
Edit time Go to Time (Take me there), then select Time entries. In Display by, select Date. Select the date range you need to edit time for. Enter your team members name if you need to edit time for a specific team member. Select Edit next to the timesheet. Make your edits and select Save.
Clock in Open your QuickBooks Workforce. If needed, sign in. Select Track Time, then Time clock. If shown, choose your job or customer under Job or Customer. You can favorite your most used jobs by selecting the star icon next to the job. If needed, enter any other required fields, like Notes. Select Clock In.
Add a time tracking user Go to Settings ⚙ and select Manage users. Select Add user. Select Time tracking only. Select Next. Find the employee or vendor you want to add, select Next, then enter their contact info. Select Save.

Invite team members to QuickBooks Time In QuickBooks Time, go to My Team. Select Add team members, then Send invitations. All team members with an email address or mobile number on file will be selected automatically. Under Email / Text, select Send an email invitation, or Send a text message invitation.
