hello everyone welcome to pro mines AutoCAD tips and tricks this week Ill be going over a useful tool for exporting certain block attributes to a text file so Ill just insert some layers here from come on to filer module it will be just a bunch of serving these layers now the command that were gonna be going over is called attribute export so if you type in a TT ext and itll bring up this dialog box now the template file is the file that you might need some help in creating and the way that works is if you go to the help document here youll see all the information about how to create this template file so if you go into the command deck so this is for setting up your attribute extraction template now if you just follow these instructions its really easy basically youll be copying these codes into your text file and then the program will be able to identify where to place each piece of information one you select your blocks to export them Ill be uploading a sample template file
