hi and welcome back so today were going to be building a sign thatll be used for either a kids bathroom or you can put it downstairs in a kids play room im going to be using a 1x4 a 1 by 3 and a 1 by 1 and then being able to be able to ship it in a box that is 24 inches long so i have a few ideas um and well get to it so ill start cutting up the boards okay so the plan is to take the one by one to make it the back of the sign and its going to be 36 inches long so ill go ahead and cut that and then ill use this 1 by 4 and this 1 by 3 to cut out the signs which will point kind of different directions and then ill take them to the table saw and rip them down to different widths just to give it a little bit more character well finish that off with a 45 degree point on each side first of all the point so the sign points in a certain direction then well kind of mix that up then well go ahead and stain it a few different colors and give it a little weathered look [Music] okay n
