But what if youre too ill to decide about your treatment? Who would you want to make those decisions for you? Fortunately, VA has a form you can fill out that covers that situation. Its called an advance directive. An advance directive tells your doctors, your loved ones and anyone else you care to name what your preferences are for health care, in case you cant make those decisions for yourself.
