so the evaluation model is called ltem which stands for the learning transfer evaluation model and you know the reason i developed it and i got a lot of help i got a lot of input from you know a lot of really smart people um but the reason i began to develop it was that now weve heard complaints about the kirkpatrick model for years and the scientists whove looked at it said it doesnt do what it says it does does not align with the research on learning its just problematic from many many different points of view and so um i just decided okay well maybe you know we want our models to push us to nudge us in the right direction and the kilpatrick does some of that well it nudges us to think about not just learning but also performance etc thats good but it has some problems it doesnt nudge us away from bad learning evaluations like measuring you know completion rates or participation it doesnt it has a problem with measuring learning puts all learning in one bucket and the bucket
