[Music] hi everyone im beta delesi and in this video were going to talk about the n9 notice which is the tenants notice to end the tenancy as you may be aware there are three ways to end the tenancy number one by the tenant giving notice number two by mutual agreement and number three by way of a court order the n9 notice must have a 60-day termination date to the last date of the rental period so what that means is that if the tenancy starts at the first of the month the termination date must be 60 days to the end of the rental period which means 60 days to the end of the following two months if the landlord serves an n12 notice the tenant can expedite the termination date by serving the n9 to the landlord with a 10-day notice to end the tenancy we often get asked what is the difference between the n11 and the n9 well the n11 is an agreement to end the tenancy what that means is that the parties are mutually agreeing to end the tenancy the termination date of an n11 can be any dat
