A fax confirmation should print shortly after the fax is sent. However, many businesses turn off the confirmation page feature in an effort to save paper. If you dont get a fax machine confirmation page, it doesnt mean that your fax was unsuccessful. Instead, check the reports or fax logs built into your machine.
Go to the Faxes section and then click on the Sent tab to view the list of your sent faxes. Find the fax you wish to get the confirmation report of, and click on the 3-dot icon next to it. Click on the Fax Confirmation Report option to view the report.
A fax confirmation page is a standard document automatically generated by a fax machine after successfully transmitting a fax. The page includes the date and time of transmission, the number of pages sent, the recipients fax number, and a confirmation message indicating that the transmission was successful.
When you send a fax, a confirmation receipt will be sent to your email address, confirming successful transmission. You can also view the send activity log in your online account. To view activity logs online: Login to eFax MyAccount.
Select the Fax Options tab. Select the Confirmation Report button. Select Print Confirmation to enable, or Off to disable.Select Confirmation Report. Print on error Confirmation will only print when fax errors out. Always Print Confirmation page will always print. Off Confirmation page will not print.
When you feed the fax machine a document, the scanner converts the document into a digital signal that is sent through the phone line. The receiving fax machine takes this signal, decodes it to recreate the original document, then prints the document.
