The tutorial discusses how to effectively use generic receipt books, like the ones available at Walmart for $2.88, which contain 50 pages. To fill out a receipt, start by writing the date, your company name, and the total amount for the service or product, similar to a check. Specify what the receipt is for, such as "tile and grout cleaning and resealing," to ensure proper records. Include payment details: the amount owed, amount paid, and any remaining balance. Finally, sign the bottom of the receipt; keep the yellow copy for your records and provide the white copy to the customer.
