Can cell phones be shipped to APO address?

In addition to the usual shipping restrictions (e.g., sending guns, alcohol, drugs, etc.), there are a few additional items that cant be sent: GPS hardware and software. Mobile phones.

Can you send bodily fluids in the mail?

Yes, with the right packaging. If the blood youd like to mail is pathogen-free, the United States Postal Service is happy to transport it by ground or air. (Same goes for saliva, urine, and stool samples.)

What are APO shipping limitations?

Military Mail is the only way for a package to get mailed to an APO or FPO. UPS, FedEx and other shipping services arent able to send packages to this USPS offshoot. Packages sent by Military Mail must be less than 70 pounds and cannot include perishables, alcohol, firearms or explosive materials.

What happens if you have to mail something liquid through USPS?

Rules for USPS. Nonflammable liquids and nonhazardous liquids can be sent via USPS, if sealed inside a waterproof container. A recently proposed rule change states that mailers must mark the outer container of a mailpiece containing liquid to indicate the nature of the contents, and include orientation arrows.

What Cannot be shipped to an APO address?

Some apparel, baby, camera and photo, electronics, health and personal care, housewares, jewelry, software, sports, and tools and hardware items cannot be shipped to APO, FPO, or DPO addresses.

Why do companies not ship to APO?

Many companies like Target, Best Buy, Ebay and Amazon do not ship to APO or FPO addresses because they have set up bulk shipping contracts with FedEx, DHL and UPS to save money or they do not have an automated way to handle APO/FPO USPS customs requirements.

Can you ship food to APO?

Many foods are safe to mail. However, you must have the name and address of a military person stationed overseas. Because of security risks, the U.S. Postal Service will not deliver mail addressed to Any Serviceman.

How do I ship liquids through USPS?

USPS allows shipping of non-hazardous liquids, as long as they are in sealed containers with all contents clearly labeled. If you want to ship over 4 oz. of liquid, you must use insulating materials, triple-pack your boxes and use tightly sealed containers like shipping glass bottles.
