Download Books to Your Kindle App Open the Kindle app . Go to your Library. If youre on a computer, double-click on the book cover. If youre on a mobile device, select the book cover. A progress bar updates as the book downloads.
In the Kindle for PC app top menu, select File then Import PDF. From the screen that pops up, find the PDF you wish to upload. Import personal document by selecting Open.
On the web, go to Amazons Send to Kindle page. Drag and drop your file to the large square area, or click on Select files from device and choose the file you want to send. (The maximum file size is 200MB.) There will be a list of supported file types on the page including PDF, DOCX, and ePub, among others.

This tool supports PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, RTF, HTM, HTML, PNG, GIF, JPG, JPEG, BMP, and EPUB formats on ebooks up to 200MB in size. (Amazon no longer supports sending new Mobi files.)
