I would double check your address with your local municipality, as USPS uses that as a source for addressing. You could be a new build and not in the address management system yet. Contact your local office, as they Post Office has to manually enter you in to a system that assigns your address to a route.
Yes - you (the addressee) have the option to send your eligible package to a different address or to a Post Office for pickup, but there is a postage fee.
