Yes, an email address is required by to generate an embedded signing ceremony. But it is okay to one (that includes your apps clientuserid for the signer) if you dont, in fact, have the signers email.

How do I enable SMS?

Enable SMS for your account To enable SMS delivery in your developer account, open a support case with Support if you have a production account. If you dont have one, visit the Support page, select API Integration Support under More Support Options, and submit details using the form.

How do I send a digital contract?

To get contracts signed online, you just have to: Upload and send a contract to the signing party. The signing party signs the document by typing his initials or virtually signing using the mouse, trackpad, or a digital pencil. They send back the signed document to you.
