were in office 365 from Microsoft Im going to show you how to assign a license to a user if you are the administrator and we can just go ahead and click in the upper left hand corner and you should see this admin box if you dont see it that means youre not the administrator so you need to make sure youre logged in as the administrator and get those credentials over to the center section we see users and were going to edit a user lets go ahead and click on users and from here were going to see a user that doesnt have a license they may have an email address but they dont have a license so they cant do anything with it so were gonna click on that user and then were going to go to mail settings and it says here this user doesnt have an exchange online license so we need to assign that license for them so lets go up to where it says product licenses and click Edit and were gonna see a lot of different licenses depending on what youve purchased so we have a lot of differen

Assign Licenses or Remove Licenses. Sign in to your Google Admin console. In the Admin console, go to Menu Billing. Click to the service you want to assign licenses for. Click Off. If you have multiple subscriptions of the same service, choose which subscription to use for automatic license assignment. Click Save.
Go to the Azure AD blade and select Licenses. Next, select All products under manage and youll see a listing of the licenses available within your tenant. Select the license you want to work with (for this example, I selected E3) and then select Assign from the top of the menu.
Assign a license to a user Browse to the Office 365 admin center and sign in as a global admin. Click Users Active users. Select multiple users, and then click Edit product licenses. Click Replace existing product license assignments, and then click Next. Turn on the license for your Dynamics 365 plan.

Create user account with on-premises mailbox and assign EXO license (correct) Create an on-premises AD user account for the user Boris with an Exchange on-premises mailbox. Sync with Azure AD Connect. Identify the user account in Microsoft 365 admin center. Enable the Exchange Online license.
In the admin center, go to the Users Active users page. Select the row of the user that you want to assign a license to. In the right pane, select Licenses and Apps. Expand the Licenses section, select the boxes for the licenses that you want to assign, then select Save changes.
