2. docHub Reader Download and Acrobat Reader on your computer and launch it. From the menu, go to Edit Advanced Search, or click Shift+Ctrl+F. Choose the All PDF Documents in option. Open the drop-down menu box and click on Browse for location to select your searched folder.
Open the PDF in Acrobat, and then do one of the following: In the Edit menu, choose Redact a PDF. Choose All tools Redact a PDF. Select the text or image in a PDF, right-click, and select Redact. Select the text or image in a PDF, and choose Redact text in the floating menu.
To do this, navigate to Tools and select Redact Redact Text Images Find Text Redact. This makes it easy to identify and then black out that content throughout the document. You can also specify general patterns, such as phone, Social Security, or credit card numbers.
Click Search Remove Text. In the search results, click the plus sign (+) next to the document name to see all occurrences of the word or phrase. Then, select the occurrences you want to mark for redaction: To select all occurrences in the list, select Check All.
How to find certain words in a PDF on Windows 10. Finding certain words in a PDF can be really helpful if you need only specific information from the document. You can use Ctrl+F to search your PDF for certain words, regardless of which PDF reader youre using.

How To Search a PDF for Words Using a Browser Using any browser, open a PDF document (right-click Open with). Press CTRL+F or CMD+F, depending on your operating system. Alternatively, access the Find function in the menu bar. Type and navigate between search results using the arrows next to the search box.
